    NOTES ABOUT THIS ITEM:
Look closely: The envelope is stamped/cancelled with the Graduate’s leg logo! 23 still photos.
This item came directly out of my personal film memorabilia and movie poster collection that I amassed over decades of collecting.  I collected mostly one sheets from the best movies of the year, with an emphasis on beautiful artwork and country-of-origin, but I also ended up with lots of other poster sizes as well.  You’ll find everything from half sheets, 3 sheets, 6 sheets, and lobby cards – to props, presskits and trailers, etc…  Original Star Wars posters – to original Pulp Fiction advances.  Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
I often send freebies with each order, so don’t be surprised if there’s a little something extra in there.
    COMBINED SHIPPING:
Posters are bulky and can be very expensive to ship.  As such,
, you’ll just pay the original shipping fee plus $2 for each additional item.
If you would like to purchase multiple items and combine shipping, please add each item to your cart and, once you’re done, click CHECKOUT.  Your cart should automatically calculate the correct shipping charge, if it does not, just click on ‘request total’ and I’ll update your shipping fees manually.
If you are combining items for shipping, please purchase all the items that go together in one batch (such as 3 folded one sheets and 1 lobby card set) – and check out a second time for any items that need to be shipped in different packaging (4 rolled posters and a banner)
Folded posters can go with lobby cards, stills, and really small flat posters.
Rolled posters can go with 30 by 40s, trifolded one sheets, banners, inserts and half sheets.
    40 by 60s can go with linen-backed 3 sheets
This isn’t just a collectible, it’s an investment!  Rare items from the best films have a history of going up and up and up in value.
WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN MOVIE PRESSKITS:
Press-kits are amongst the rarest of movie and film memorabilia – yet their prices are still very reasonable.  They are vastly under-priced when you consider the rarity and coolness factor.  They weren’t intended for public use, they were sent to movie reviewers, newspapers, film critics, press agents, etc…  Many were cut up and had the photographs used for newspaper advertisements.  Most were thrown away.  They were only created in small numbers, and the attrition rate is high.
Plus, as I mentioned, they are cool!
Not only do they contain 8″ by 10″ photographs, but press-kits often have information packets that contain endless amounts of anecdotes and stories about things that happened on-set.  They sometimes include pages of trivia – cast & crew info – newspaper ads – posters.  Occasionally they’ll even include things like 45 records, transparencies, slides, booklets, promotional items, etc…  Every presskit you come across is different.  And they’re all interesting.
A lot of the info and trivia on imdb came directly out of press kits!
And, press-kits come with one other massive benefit:  reprints and reproductions of movie stills and photos are rife in the hobby – and the fakes are extremely hard to tell from the originals.  But, with press kits, you know for certain that the pics are 100% genuine!  As they were sent directly to the newspapers by the film studios themselves. And they usually come with a folder and other items that would be too expensive to fake.

    AUTHENTICITY:
I do not sell fakes, reprints, commercial posters, reproductions, video posters, etc…
Although, as with all rules, there are a few odd exceptions.  There’s no theatrical poster for things like Lonesome Dove, so if you want a real poster, your only option is the video one sheet.  Similarly, the video one sheet for Dawn of the Dead is actually better looking than the theatrical posters.  So, I do carry the Lonesome Dove, and could conceivably carry the Dawn of the Dead.  Somewhere I have a commercial poster for Star Wars or the Empire Strikes Back that somehow ended up back at the poster distributor’s – where it got stamped and sent back out to other theatres to display.  So, is it now a real poster?  Similarly, I can remember when the Matrix was released and the studio wasn’t expecting it to do as well as it did – and they completely ran out of one sheets late in the film’s first release!  That’s why Matrix one sheets have always been so sought after, there’s never been enough.  I can remember seeing 2nd run theatres who were forced to buy commercial posters and display them in their theaters.  Again, does that make those specific commercial posters real now?  By the definition most collectors use, it would.  Or, at least, it might.  So, yeah, occasionally I could have one of those weird, rare things, but in those odd exceptions, it will be very clear that you are not buying a 100% authentic theatrical poster.
Most of my posters were sourced from movie theatres or poster distribution warehouses by myself personally.  Many others were purchased from dealers I trusted (back 20 or 25 years ago, the poster hobby had a lot of dealers you couldn’t trust).  So, rest assured, none of my posters came from any of those bad dealers you’ve heard so much about.  And any posters with known bootlegs have been checked to make sure they’re original, even the ones I personally took out of a theatre’s projection or poster-storage room myself.
If you see anything I’ve mis-described, please let me know so I can update the listing!
    PAYMENTS:
Payment required within 7 days, unless other arrangements have been made.  Credit card payments can be made via PayPal or through eBay’s system.  Local pick-up is available.
eBay also accepts the following:  PayPal Credit, PayBright, Google Pay, Apple Pay, debit card, etc…  Contact me via website for payment methods to pay on pickup.
    SHIPPING:
Your items will be shipping from Canada, and will take a little bit of time to reach you.  I try to ship posters using the cheapest (trackable) method possible, in order to save you as much money as I can.  Typically that means the post office – or a service that drives the packages over the border and sends them via USPS.  This can take up to 1 or 2 weeks for shipments going to Canada, up to 2 or 3 weeks for the US, and 2 to 8+ weeks for international destinations (tracking may be optional/questionable for international orders).  If you would like faster service or a different courier, that can be arranged, but will likely cost considerably more.
Postage/packaging/shipping typically costs me far more than I charge my customers.
If you are in the US or Canada, the default shipping option will be the cheapest, relatively-safe option I have available.  For folded 1 sheets that could be a plastic sleeve, 2 or 3 layers of cardboard, and placed in an envelope or box.  Tracking, but no signature.  And only the base level of insurance ($100).  There will also be a more expensive option (you might want to use for rarer and more-valuable posters) that will cover additional packaging, a greater level of insurance, and higher shipping costs.  This will likely include a faster shipping time as well.
    PACKAGING:
I package everything as safely as I can given size and weight constraints (adding even an extra inch can cost you $20 more in shipping!).  If you would like your posters packaged to an even higher degree of safety with heavier and stronger materials, please upgrade your shipping during checkout!
Large or bulky items (such as items that need to be shipped flat or in large-diameter tubes/boxes) will cost extra and could be very expensive to ship internationally.  Although that will be mentioned in the listing if applicable.
    OTHER:
If you are even the tiniest bit concerned about anything to do with this transaction, we can use escrow if that will help ease your mind (buyer is responsible for escrow fees, of course).
Please see the detailed photographs so you can judge each item’s authenticity, condition, and defects for yourself.  Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about my items before purchasing, so you don?t end up with buyer’s remorse.  Since shipping posters is so unbelievably expensive nowadays, you are purchasing everything as-is with no returns or exchanges.  Just shipping a poster back-and-forth could cost far more than it?s worth – or hundreds of dollars.
Buyer is responsible for any taxes, duties, fees, charges, tariffs, etc…
I guarantee safe delivery of your items to the carrier.  Unfortunately, due to covid-related service-disruptions (and the rise of porch-pirates, etc…), once the package leaves my hands there’s nothing I can do, everything is the buyer’s responsibility from that point on.  Most carriers offer insurance (typically around $1 per $100 of coverage), if you would like insurance, please inquire.  Otherwise, you will get the base level of insurance that the carrier provides (which is often $100, but could be none).  Personally, I rarely ever use insurance.  I’ve shipped and received thousands of packages in my life, and the (legitimate) lost-package rate is minuscule, on the order of one package in thousands, way less than the 1% they charge for insurance.  And, if packaged securely, there’s rarely much if any damage (unfortunately, most sellers DO NOT package their items adequately enough to withstand what a normal package goes through on its journey).  But, for valuable items, you may want to consider insurance, simply for peace of mind.  Buyer is responsible for filing any insurance claims, seeing as they will know more about what happened than I will.  I typically use ChitChats or CanadaPost, please see their websites for information about insurance coverage and prices.
    ABOUT ME:
I have collected original movie posters for several decades now.  Many of the posters I’m selling came from a movie-poster-distribution-warehouse collection I purchased back in the early-90s (I only got a tiny part of the collection, but you wouldn’t believe what was in there!) – others I collected over the years from various sources.  I used to travel great distances to purchase film poster collections from collectors, movie theatres, multiplexes, and even second-run theaters and small theatres that only played foreign (or Asian kung fu) films.  I provided the servers (pro bono) that hosted the internet’s first movie-poster authentication site, a site which was responsible for severely curtailing fraud inside the hobby.  I was even the person who broke one of the biggest bootleg scandals our hobby has ever seen.  Or maybe it was two?  So, you can rest assured that you are getting what you paid for!  The best and most highly-collectible movie posters on the planet!
