    • This antique sterling sauce boat has an intricately etched banded trim and unique shape.
    The lion passant mark denotes sterling standard silver (925/1000).
    The crowned leopard mark was used until 1821 and indicates the Assay office where the item was verified, in this case London.
    The profile mark shows that the duty was paid to the king (George III at the time).
